I love the OLS blog. But this month I really struggeled with the theme "Road trip". I have only a few travel stamps - and they are not compatible to an one-layered card...
So I do a little faux stamping because I don't have any "travelled theme" sentiments (guess this is a good excuse for another stamp-shopping trip soon, right?).
Hope there is no grammar mistake - if so, please let me know. Thanks. (the aposthrophe in "friend's" still looks strange to me)
I printed the sentiment on heavy white card stock using my laser printer. Cut paper in half, fold it to create a top fold card and then stamped the Peanuts stamp with Memento just above it (I used a stamp-a-ma-jig to get it in the right spot).
Finally I coloured the image with alcohol markers.
Have a great day, thanks for looking.

Stamp: Stampabilities (Snoopy)
Fonts (sentiment): Times New Roman
Ink: Memento Tuxedo black
Markers: Tria (gray ones) and Delta (all other colours)

Oh happy day
This is another card I made for the One Layered challenge but didn't get it online in time:
The floral design is one of my neglected stamps (I do have a lot of these *sigh*). I really like it and don't get why I don't use it more. Maybe because it's an old discontinued stamp? I don't know. The design is really timeless and versatile.
I inked it with Distress faded jeans, add lots of water and stamp it on a folded card.
Sentiment is from the Avery Elle.
Have a nice sunday,
Sandra (Sunny)
